Records of HOAs and Rights of Members

As a nonprofit corporation in charge of operating real estate and carrying out duties set out in the governing documents, a community association generates a lot of paperwork and gathers a lot of information. But, what of that constitutes an association record? How long are those records meant to be kept? Our presenting attorneys dive into the logistics of association records, as well as what rights owners have to inspect and/or copy records.
