Matt was the sole owner of a general civil practice in northeastern Colorado before returning to his hometown of Colorado Springs in the summer of 2025. Matt provides legal counsel to electric cooperatives, school and special districts, corporate boards, and has served as city and town attorney for several Colorado municipalities. He has an extensive background in complex civil litigation, transactional work, corporate formation and board governance, real estate, estate planning, and probate practice.
Matt is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and served on its Board of Governors for five years. He served as President of the 13th Judicial District Bar Association from 2018 through 2022 and on the 13th Judicial District’s Judicial Performance Committee from 2015 through 2019.
When not working with clients, he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, running, skiing, and playing golf.
