It’s Not Winter Yet

As winter approaches, many Associations are faced with the need to balance the interests of enforcing its landscaping restrictions with the inevitable end to the planting season.  However, there is still some time left. This article from Davey identifies several things to keep in mind as trees are planted.

There are a number of important considerations, but first and foremost call before you dig.  Identifying the location of water pipes, electrical wires and cable connections is an important first step.  Calling helps limit liability for property damage or personal injury.  Whether the trees are being planted on common area or on individual owner’s property pursuant to a landscape plan, this article provides some helpful insight as to what should be considered as trees are planted and how to ensure the future health of the tree.
